Still others cheered the decision, some wearing matching red shirts that read “The Pro-Life Generation Votes” and rallying together in a separate group to commemorate the ruling.

By the afternoon, as more people learned of the decision, a crowd overwhelmingly in favor of abortion

abortion rights had coalesced around the court’s front steps, chanting slogans aimed at the court’s conservative majority.
